Some things begin with a plan.
Others begin with a longing. 
MALA began with a longing for a different kind of everyday life — one with more nature, more meaning, and fewer things chosen without thought.

After years of working with furniture, I felt it was time to create the place I had been looking for myself. Something rooted in where I come from, yet made to belong anywhere.
That place became MALA.
Made slowly, thoughtfully, and close to home.

But MALA was never meant to be only about the things we bring into our homes. I hope it becomes a place for people who share a certain way of seeing — who find beauty in simplicity, feel drawn to nature, value things made with care, and believe that the everyday deserves our attention.

I hope it becomes a place to discover, to share, and perhaps, to feel a little more connected — to ourselves, to nature, and to one another.
